Oakcroft Update to our Customers
You may have noticed our absence from the regular Farmers Markets from the end of September. Don't worry, we will be back in November (possibly even in Tavistock at the end of October).
We have been upgrading our premises in a big way and have nearly finished -just waiting on the electricians finishing off and the new floor coating being laid. As long as all the machinery starts after a months rest we will be back in business very shortly.
Please note due to difficulties in obtaining day day old keets we have no Guineafowl and the ducks will be white table ducks instead of the Barbary ducks we have been used to supplying.
On a seasonal note the Pheasant Season has begun and the Free Range Bronze turkeys and Geese for Christmas are all growing well
For a cosy bedside rug how about an 'Oakcroft Bearskin' (extra large sheepskin)? Available in varying shades of black and brown and occasionally white at £60.00 each. If you would like to see one please contact us and we can bring a sample to the market.
(some of our home-made pies and pasties which we sell at Markets and Shows)
You can find us at the following Farmers' Markets;
Crediton 1st Sat and 3rd Friday (until reviewed in December 2011)
Kingsbridge 1st and 3rd Sat
Dartmouth 2cnd Sat
Tavistock 2nd and 3rd Sat
Cullumpton 2nd Sat.
Lostwithiel every other Friday
together with some extra Markets in the run up to Christmas, dates tbc.
We really appreciate hearing from our customers so if you have any questions or comments please get in touch with us via our contacts page. We are currently building up our recipe page to give our customers some ideas and suggestions, so if you have any recipes you would like to share please let us know and we will put them up, and we'll credit you too if you like. Hoping to see you at a Farmers' Market soon,
RN Rogers
and lastly a picture of our collie, Rip,who now spends every night in the barn on fox patrol. Don't worry - he won't be cold as he sleeps in a big bag of lamb's wool!
and a couple of discount vouchers for you to print off and use at your next Farmers' Market or Show:
